The Sessions page provides a real-time view of all ongoing charging sessions across your charging network (chargers at your locations).

This tool allows you to:

  • Efficiently assist drivers experiencing issues with their charging session.
  • Monitor and address sessions that may not be finalized correctly.

 

💡 What is the difference between Sessions and Charge Detail Records?

Charge Detail Records (CDRs): Include completed and immutable charging sessions, ready for billing.

Sessions: Display ongoing sessions that are dynamically updated with the latest data from the charger (e.g., meter values). When a session completes, a corresponding CDR is generated.

 

💡 What happened to the “Charge Records” page?

Previously, ongoing and completed sessions were combined in a single "Charge Records" table. To enhance the admin experience, data accuracy, and system interoperability, Spirii has introduced separate tables for Sessions and Charge Detail Records.

 

Remotely stopping a session

If a driver encounters a “stuck” charging session in the app, operators can resolve the issue by remotely stopping the session using the Sessions page.

Steps to stop a Session:

  1. Locate the relevant session using the search function.
  2. Click the “Mark as Stopped” icon on the right-hand side of the table.

Note: This functionality is only available for users with the operator role.
